Episode 4: For Hailey & Bruce

The Geeks discuss the loss of Springfield MO's Hailey Owens; the stunning display of her candlelight vigil in spite of the threat of WBC; and Sam says goodbye to his best friend and loyal cat, Bruce, after 10 years of love and devotion in this rather somber episode.

  1. For the longest time, I couldn't think of anything to put here. There's nothing relating to the episode I could really say. I have however, come across an interesting fellow in my travels who provided me with a story that relates to your show.

This man I encountered is a huge fan of the flesh light. In fact, he's such a fan that he owns three of them and feels comfortable talking about it in public. He also extols the values of the technological marvel which is the superskin lining of the flesh light.

While I was having this conversation, another person overheard us and decided to join in. She informed us that she used to work at a sex toy shop and also had much praise for the super skin material. Apparently this stuff revolutionized sex toys.

At this point I was trying to egg this guy on, asking him how you go about cleaning a flesh light. I was wondering if you use dish soap. Big mistake, the expert was disgusted and informed me that a flesh light takes special care. He was also horrified at the prospect of dishwashing a flesh light, saying it would make the super skin rigid and hard.

I tried to get the expert to give up strategies on how to keep his dirty pleasure hidden from the others who inhabit his house, but he wouldn't budge on that trade secret.

Also, someone who recently cut open one of their veins showed me a picture of her bathroom all filled with blood. Blood everywhere like that one scene in the first Nightmare on Elm Street. My first response was to ask her if she didn't have any dark colored towels.
